Synopsis of Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan ‘The Run’
The story begins with the narration of Rohan Kishibe, who has broken his right hand.
With an expression of regret and remorse, Rohan begins to tell the story of what happened to him.
Yoma Hashimoto, a 21-year-old male.
He was scouted by a modeling agency when he went to Harajuku on the Shinkansen and started his showbiz career.
Following the advice of his agent, he began to work out and gradually began to devote himself to it.
At first, he trained in his girlfriend Miki Hayamura’s apartment or at the gym, and then he started to work out.
However, his act gradually escalates.
He began to spend her money on his body and built a bouldering facility in a rented room without her permission.
Eventually he would begin to eliminate anything that got in the way of his training.
And then Rohan Kishibe meets the man at the training gym.
At first, it might have been a game that he offered to play as a light rivalry.
But it was the beginning of a game for life…
The highlight of Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan ‘The Run’
“I missed a red line that shouldn’t have been crossed and stuck my head in an unnecessary place.”
“I was really naive because I was so vain that I could see into people’s personalities.”
This is the only episode where we see a fiercely reflective Kishibe Rohan-sensei !
The highlight of this work is the desperate figure of Rohan Kishibe being cornered.
No matter what the situation, the sight of Kishibe Rohan, who has been preparing himself fearlessly, running with a desperate look on his face, shows the abnormality of the event.
You can feel it keenly.
And the unfathomable creepiness of Yoma Hashimoto, the other character, is also wonderful.
He doesn’t hesitate to kill for his own body, and his self-centeredness and psychopathic behavior are incomprehensible.
It’s filled with fear of the incomprehensible.
It’s a simple game with a treadmill, but that’s why the attacks and defenses that are asked are so breathtaking.
The last part is also a great way to conclude the story that smacks of expansive storytelling, and it’s a great way to end the story in a good way !
This is a masterpiece with music and animation that is full of tension and speed.
Spoilers impressions for Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan ‘The Run’
Favorite place
Surreal and creepy as Yoma Hashimoto boulders down the exterior wall of the apartment building. I like it because it represents both.
I can’t help but wonder when he did such a big act.
I also like his commitment to the game, and his philosophy, even though he’s a villain.
He says that there needs to be fairness in the game, and his attitude of trying to shut down the cheaters, even though he’s a madman.
I could feel the pride of those who are trying to master the physical body.
Maybe he’s just a competitive person…
I was reminded of Ringo Roadagain, the enemy character from JoJo Part 7, as a character who also has an aesthetic for the game.
He also has a unique philosophy of winning and is a fairly popular character.
Although, Yoma Hashimoto didn’t have as much dandyism as Ringo.
Did Yoma Hashimoto’s amazing body also manifestation his Stand ability, or was there really a god in his body?
I also like the way it ends without making it clear.
The awesomeness he possessed certainly gave Rohan the feeling that if he looked out the window, he would be killed for sure.
I was thrilled by his piercing gaze the moment he fell out the window.
Not only did he kill Mika and the delivery guy, but he also killed a customer at the gym as someone who interfered with his training.
Hopefully, although he was framed by Rohan, he’ll let Rohan off the hook for winning the game. I pray for…..
Something that bothered me
I pity her Mika….
She was just pointing out the obvious, but he stole her money, he built bouldering equipment in a rented room without her permission, and she ended up getting killed.
It was hard to understand in the anime, but if you read the original story, it turns out that she was buried in cement in the walls of her room after she was killed, due to Heaven’s Door’s ability to do so.
Which means that Yoma Hashimoto left the room, but he went back and killed her and continued to live in the room ?
Seriously, it’s too psychopathic…
A sound mind in a sound body
It’s often said that “A sound mind in a sound body” but is it true?
The Yoma Hashimoto in this story has a body that is loved by God.
But his spirit that inhabits it is a self-centered, narcissistic bastard.
We tend to look for stoicism in athletes in the real world, but they are just another human being.
Most of them probably have the same mental structure as we do.
I’m sure some of them have really great humanity, but that’s not the whole. I think.
Let’s get back on track, The word is said to have a different original meaning.
These words are said to have been left by the ancient Roman satirical poet, Juvenalis.
He also bequeathed the expression “panem et circenses”.
The original assertion of Juvenalis apparently it was, “It is to be prayed that the mind be sound in a sound body.”
It seems that the argument was that people tend to wish God wealth, fame, talent, and good looks, but they should only wish for their own physical and mental health, because such things will lead to their own destruction.
However, the word has been used by militarism to distort its meaning and the misuse of the word has spread.
We also have to be careful not to get so immersed in something that we lose sight of our initial purpose…
I wish you all good physical and mental health.
So I’ll see you all soon !
