Synopsis of the Swiss Army Man
Hank is adrift at sea and washes up on an uninhabited island.
He was about to attempt suicide out of loneliness and despair.
Just as he is about to hang himself, he realizes that a man has been washed up on the beach.
When Hank tries to identify the man, he is unfortunately strangled by a hanging rope.
Hank struggles desperately that he can’t die yet.
Perhaps his prayers were answered, the rope was torn off and Hank survived.
Hank rushes over to the man who was hastily washed up.
Hank’s prayers for the man to be alive and to talk to him were not answered, and the man was a corpse.
Unable to hide his dismay, Hank talks to the corpse, but all he gets back is the sound of gas, like a fart, leaking from the man’s body.
Hank tries to commit suicide by hanging again.
Then he hears a strange sound in his ears.
It was the sound of an unusually large amount of farting emitted by the corpse.
Hank tries to hang himself, even as the sound destroys the atmosphere.
But when he idly glanced at the corpse, it was about to paddle out to sea with the force of a fart.
Hank is speechless at the absurd of the scene, but he stops suicide and hurriedly tries to get to grips with the body.
The body is out of control due to the sheer force of the fart.
Hank tries desperately to cling to the body and straddle it.
Then they row out into the open sea.
It’s like a motorboat…
Highlights of the Swiss Army Man
If you watch it without knowing anything about it, you may initially be puzzled by the film’s outlandish setting.
However, as you watch, you will gradually come to terms with it.
And you’ll find yourself falling in love with these lovable characters and becoming captive to their friendship.
You’ll love this magical movie when you finish watching it.
The scene where he crosses the ocean with a fart is awesome.
Paul Dano’s character is also a life-sized young man, which makes it very sympathetic.
And Daniel Radcliffe, who played the corpse of that sidekick, is amazing!
I never imagined before I saw the film that a corpse, which at first seemed creepy, would become more and more lovable.
The visual expression was also captivating and I never felt sluggish watching it.
The film is very pop, with tense camerawork and fantastical scenes thrown in for good measure.
The music is also impressive, and all of the songs will make you want to sing along to them.
At first it may feel like a difficult movie to get used to, but this is a great movie that I can recommend to everyone.
I especially recommend it for people who feel like they have a debt to their lives!
It was very stinging to me.
Spoiler impressions for Swiss Army Man
Favorite place.
My favorite scene in the film is the bus scene.
I felt like crying when I saw the scene where Menny looked out the window in the bus that Hank made and saw the scenery and confessed.
Nostalgia, sentimentality, and many other thoughts rushed through me and made my heart tighten.
The convenience of Meny is also tremendous.
If only Meny were on a deserted island, I would really be able to live.
To sum up Menny’s abilities, he has a fart jet, a water tank, a cock radar, a gun, ignition capabilities, a tooth razor, a foot chainsaw, It has a rich variety.
It’s really more convenient than a Swiss army knife (laughs)
What’s more, it even has conversation skills.
I’d like to see this product commercialized somewhere.
I was really taken aback by the part where Menny suddenly started talking.
I almost jumped out of my chair without thinking.
Every interaction between Hank and Menny since then has been emotional, funny, and heartbreaking.
It was the memoir of a life, the difficulty of living, and the questioning of this world.
I think that Hank was looking at his life and society through Meny.
And we feel for Hank and think about ourselves with him.
The Swiss Army Man is too multi-functional to let you do that.
The part where Hank is almost eaten to death by a bear was also very impressive.
We’re all going to die anyway.
Someday it will die, rot and return to the soil.
It’s good to live for the fun of it.
It’s okay to have any life at all.
No matter what kind of life you have, first affirm it and decide to live it.
How to live can be figured out from that.
I also took the last scene to be a refreshing goodbye, with Hank and Menny each deciding to walk their own path.
Only Hank can tell if Meny was really conscious and talking.
However, I think that he was actually conscious and talking.
I mean, life is more fun if you believe that.
something that bothered me
Hank’s handicraft skills are too high (laughs).
Even though Menny is multifunctional, isn’t he too good with his hands to create such a variety of crafts in such a short time?
I’m sure he had a talent in that way (laughs).
Also, at the climax, Hank goes back to the beach with Menny, but it was very quick.
Was it actually quite close to Sarah’s house from that beach?
However, since people get lost immediately if their sense of direction is lost even in a low mountain or a narrow forest, it may be that it took time to get out even if there was a penis radar.
Truth and Lies.
Whether this is real or not, whether it’s all a hallucination or whether it’s all real, is entirely up to the viewer.
Those of us who have seen it should have an answer to it.
Just accept the mysterious emotions that have sprung up deep within your heart as they are.
It would be nice if there was a corpse crossing the ocean with a fart.
If there is no more wonder in this world, the world will become boring.
So I’ll see you all soon!
